We will work geography, history, art and culture about some european countries. Our pupils will take some photos about their school, their city and their country and will put them in a blog. Our pupils will make a short explanation about what the photo is. We also will be in contact by e-mail, standard mail in order to do an exchange class to class.

The topics we can work together in this first exchange could be: Who am I?. (personal description), How is my family? (brothers and sisters, parents work, my house). They can send some photos. Also, our pupils can start working in some e-cards from Europe. To do this we can use a blog. Could be a wordpress blog or a blogspot blog. We will create one blog, in English, and all thwe teachers inolved in this project will be a administrator. (You have to sign in as a wordpress user in http://www.wordpress.com The contents we can work using this Blog could be: My school: how is, where is... My country: Geography: Relief, climate, population, Art, History, Traditions, culture The methodology could be: 1.First the teachers make a plan in touch together by e-mail. 2.We open a blog where pupils can blog their post cards. 3.Pupils make an exchange, by e-mail, about the topics: Who Am I? How is my family?... 4.They have to put some Interventions into the blog. They have to be in English. They could be one picture + a short explanatory text about the picture. (This is a e-post card) 5.Each school reads the other schools post cards at the blog and make some comments to it. Then upload their own post cards: may be a minimum of 4 post cards by month.

1. Expected results:We will use the photos and the words that the european pupils will put into the blog as a material for our geography and history classes. Our pupils will know how is Europe. They will know how is Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Spain or Greece because pupils around Europe will tell them.

Description:

The aim of this project is to promote active ways of spending free time by students and to show how interesting our towns and regions are in the areas of their geography, history, culture and regional education presented with "works of art" like photos, drawings, paintings, Powerpoint presentations, or other creative compositions : songs, poems, drama, concerts, dance. Ambitious young people and their masters will be introduced to show how even a generation gap can be overcome for our common good. We hope that this project will show that creativity and hard work give great results, and will promote "activity above all" to develop skills and abilities and to enrich our local community culture.
